MY FAMILY

daisymae1_sm.gif (22726 bytes)

This is our first cat, Daisy Mae.   She was a beautiful Dilute Persian Calico and made us very happy until she died July 1999.  Max really missed her.  So did we.  She had so much personality we had to get two kittens to replace her.  Daisy Mae was very talented and her favorite game was retrieving small sponge balls.  She could always find the pink and lavender ones because they were her favorites.  She would bring them to us at 3:00 am because she wanted to play.  This is why we now have Max.
This is our second cat, Max.  He was born March 20, 1998.  He is Persian Bi-Color and is the most lovable cat in the world.  Daisy was jealous at first but they soon became best buddies.  We think Max has gotten over Daisy being gone.  He now has his hands full putting up with the two kittens, especially Dixie.  Our last house guests wanted to take Max with them because he was so handsome and friendly.   Max really enjoyed having them stay with us for a week.

This is Dixie Lee.  Dixie was born on May 16, 1999.  She is a White Persian and looks like an angel but acts more like a little devil at times.  Her major task in life is to prove to everyone that she is in charge. David says we are very much alike.  When David took Dixie to the vet for the first time they posted her picture on their bulletin board.   We are very proud of her.
This is Rose Marie.   Rosie was born on May 12, 1999.  She is a beautiful Dilute Persian Calico just like Daisy Mae and is from the same bloodline.  We feel very lucky to have her.   Rosie is a little shy but is also very lovable.  Rosie and Dixie enjoy chasing each other but most of time Rosie is running from Dixie.   Not only are Rosie's colors like Daisy's but so are many of the things she does, such as the way she talks to us with her meows.  We don't totally understand her yet.  She makes us understand when she is ready for her KMR milk because she meows non-stop until the dish is placed in front of her.

spicy_sm.gif (29465 bytes) Here is the latest addition to the family, Spice Girl (Spicy) or as Cat Dad calls her Esmerelda. She was born on May 5, 1998. She is a reject Himalayan Seal Tortie Point with eyes not quite blue enough and a nose a tad too long. Compared to our Pesians she is super hyper. Even so, she very lovable. She came to us with lots of health problems but one by one we are taking care of them.

Our Wedding Day, which now seems like a long time ago.
